Mission Statement

Raising future stars by being passionately committed to ensuring that we provide a nurturing, inspirational, stimulating, safe and secure environment for our children at Just Imagine Day Nursery – Canvey Island. We aspire to be a positive contribution to the lives of all our children and their families regardless of their needs, religion, ethnic or cultural background.

Providing opportunities for all children to make excellent individual progress in relation to their starting points in all areas of learning, giving each child the confidence they need to explore, grow and show curiosity, as well as sharing experiences with their peers. This is vital in preparing them for the next level in their learning.

As a nursery, we have a mandate to work in partnership with the parents and other like-minded stakeholders to help our rising future stars lay the correct early years foundation. We believe “knowledge is power” and every child deserves to be given that early years foundation, in reference to a quote from Nelson Mandela:

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

As the saying goes play is the shortest route between children and their creative calling. Together as a team built with healthy quality learning, we can provide the early year’s foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and high talents as they grow and develop. During their time at our Nursery, the children experience social interaction with others, develop encouraging friendships and future life skills.
