Our Team
Our team are highly qualified and experienced at Just Imagine Day Nursery Canvey Island. Staff access regular training opportunities and are actively encouraged to continue with their professional development. Please see our photo board for staff names, situated within the nursery.
All staff will be DBS checked and employed on their suitability to work with children. Staff that are newly employed by us and are going through the checking process will not be left unattended with the children. Our practitioners are required to hold a formal qualification. Our Nursery Assistants must have some child care knowledge and be willing to train in order to gain a formal qualification.
Just Imagine Day Nursery – Canvey Island believes it is essential that all potential child care workers gain knowledge through practical experience, hence why we accept students from Colleges and Schools in the local area.

Kemi had a dream to create a nursery with a difference and when the opportunity came along with the acquisition of Just Imagine Day Nursery – Canvey Island it was perfect. With a wealth of experience and training, not least with having her own children, her dream has been realised with the acquisition of Just Imagine Day Nursery – Canvey Island, here we offer a homely, happy, stimulating and loving environment for the children entrusted in our care, we invite you to visit us and we believe you will share the same views as us.
Kemi is passionate about caringly nurturing all children thereby enabling them to shine as the stars that they truly are.

Kelsea started her childcare journey back in 2012, when she had the opportunity to work with students’ youths with different aspects of SEND from severe autism, Down syndrome, speech and language to ADHD, this was the most amazing experience, which stuck with her throughout the whole of her college days. After Kelsea left college, she became bank staff to a local nursery and thereafter found her place with Just Imagine Day Nursery – Canvey Island in July 2017. Since then she has progressed from practitioner to SENCO to senior and now to a well deserved proud position as nursery manager. Even though challenging, however with the team and children surrounding her, she blossomed into the person she is today and by her own admission, she wouldn’t change it for the world!
Sarah Dennis

Sarah started childcare in 2002 and later became the ENCO at Busy Bees Nursery worked in the rooms as well as in the kitchen. Sarah joined our team at Just Imagine Day Nursery – Canvey Island in 2018 and showed great compassion when with the children, as well as when in the
kitchen.
Sarah completed her Level 4 in Food Hygiene and also her food allergy training. Sarah is excellent at alternative meals and dietary needs as well as getting to know the children in our care, she is an added value to our great team of staff.
